Biography

Research Interest: My research interest focuses on the development of teacher-student relationships both inside and outside the classroom, and how these connections foster trust and openness. I’m particularly interested in how LGBTQ+ teachers navigate authenticity with their students and how that openness shapes student perceptions. This interest is rooted in meaningful relationships I’ve built with past instructors, which continue to influence me today. As someone who identifies as LGBTQ+ and aspires to become a professor, I’m committed to exploring how personal identity can coexist with professional credibility in the classroom.
