Biography
Research Interest: I am currently interested in exploring representations of Appalachia in non-traditional media sources through a queer lens with a focus on local and regional journalism. I am also interested in queer representation in media more broadly, and have written about queer romance, Appalachian representation in fictional TV, and queering Appalachia.
