Biography
Research Interest: My research sits at the intersection of interpersonal communication and sport, with a particular focus on family communication dynamics in athletic contexts. I am interested in how elite sport shapes identity and transmits values across relationships, as well as the interpersonal functions that recreational sport and sport fandom serve in everyday life. More broadly, I view sport as a space where relationships are formed, tested, and maintained, rather than solely as a performance or industry context.
