Biography

Research Interests: Marian’s research explores the connections between health communication, health equity, and persuasive message design to reduce disparities, improve health behaviors, and support healthier communities. Her work focuses on emotion, narrative communication, and patient–provider interactions, with an emphasis on behavioral and mental health. Using an interdisciplinary approach that combines insights from communication, public health, and institutional change, Marian advances both theory and practical strategies through evidence-based health campaigns and interventions.
