Biography
Research Interest: Broadly, my research interests lie at the intersection of media and health communication. Specifically, I examine how international students use social media to navigate traumatic mental health experiences, particularly those associated with cross-cultural integration and evolving immigration policies. Additionally, I examine how individuals in underserved communities interpret the credibility and influence of online health campaign messages disseminated by diverse actors, including medical professionals who also serve as online health influencers, and how these messages affect health beliefs and behaviors.
