Patrick Leddin


Biography

Patrick Leddin was the co-owner of Wedgewood Group, which made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing privately held companies in America. He served as managing director at Wedgewood Group until it was acquired in April 2012. He also served for several years as a senior consultant at FranklinCovey. In this role, he taught workshops and delivered consulting work in the areas of strategy execution, business acumen, leadership and productivity.

He is a previous senior consultant at KPMG Consultant and began his career as an infantry officer in the United States Army. While in the Army, he served as a company commander, executive officer and platoon leader in the 82nd Airborne Division. His experience in the military includes completing Airborne, Jumpmaster and Ranger schools.

Leddin is currently a faculty Lecturer in the Department of Communication at the University of Kentucky. He is also a faculty lecturer at Vanderbilt University in the Managerial Studies Program.

He earned his doctoral degree in communication with an emphasis on organizational and instructional communication from the University of Kentucky. He is the author of “Oliver’s Spot” and “Oliver’s Spot for the Public Sector,” both of which are books that teach a process for team building, engagement and results achievement.
