Biography
Research Interests: Sam Pfeijda is researching the experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals whose lives have intersected with conservative religious organizations. Currently, her studies address queer individuals stories of hearing anti-LGBTQ+ sermons in Independent Fundamentalist Baptist churches and how they perceived these sermons. She is also examining their experiences related to leaving these organizations, deconstructing messages they have received, and reconstructing their perceptions of themselves and others.
