Photojournalist Patrick Chauvel will show some of his award-winning photography and talk about his experiences of 50 plus years of conflict coverage around the world on Monday, April 20 at 2 p.m. in Wrigley Auditorium, 250 Pence Hall.
Born in Paris, Patrick Chauvel is a journalist, photographer, documentary filmmaker and writer. From the Vietnam War in 1968 to Ukraine in 2022, he has covered most of the conflicts of the last 50 years, with coverage in Ireland, Mozambique, Angola, Lebanon, El Salvador, Iran, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Chechnya, the former Yugoslavia, Panama, Egypt, Libya, and many other locations.
