The Institute for Rural Journalism invites you to reserve October 22, 2026, to support and celebrate excellence in community journalism.
The day will feature afternoon training for professional journalists and UK College of Communication students.
The Al Smith Awards Dinner will begin with a cocktail hour followed by a delicious dinner, replete with good company and conversation, followed by the Al Smith and Gish Award presentations and a keynote speaker.
