863 College of Communication and Information students were named to the Dean’s List for their outstanding academic achievement during the Spring 2026 semester. The 863 students on the list account for more than one third of all current CI students.
Nominations sought for the Tom and Pat Gish Award for courage, integrity and tenacity in rural journalism by June 15. 
When Brayden Scott first imagined leaving his hometown of London, Kentucky, it wasn’t simply about going to college. It was about finding a place where he could be seen — and heard — for who he is. 
Jenna Lifshen, a junior sports journalism major, has recently accepted an internship position with NBC Sports for this upcoming summer.The internship is based in Stamford, Connecticut, where Lifshen will spend five weeks working with NBC’s Sports Editorial desk and five weeks with the network’s research desk for online stories.
