Bio
Audrey Smith Bachman (M.A., University of Kentucky) is a Doctoral Candidate and Instructor in the Department of Communication within the College of Communication and Information at the University of Kentucky. Audrey is also a Master’s of Public Health Candidate in the College of Public Health focusing on Health Management and Policy. Audrey is experienced teaching health communication, interpersonal communication, patient-provider communication, and organizational communication at the undergraduate level. Health communication is her primary field of study, with a particular focus on community-based participatory research to develop communication strategies for public health interventions. Her scholarship includes several conference presentations and publications in Health Communication, Communication Research Reports, and the Journal of Communication in Healthcare.
