The School of Information Science welcomes three new faculty members for Fall 2024.
The UK Alumni Association announced 20 new inductees to the Hall of Distinguished Alumni for 2025, including four College of Communication and Information alumni as well as one UK Debate alum.
Renee Kaufmann, associate professor in the School of Information Science, has been named the acting associate dean for graduate programs in communication, effective immediately. 
The College of Communication and Information is pleased to announce the naming of the Elizabeth “Scoobie” Ryan Podcast and Multimedia Studio, which will be housed in the newly renovated Pence Hall, set to open in Fall 2025.
779 College of Communication and Information students were named to the Dean’s List for their outstanding academic achievement during the Spring 2024 semester. The 779 students on the list account for more than one third of all current CI students. 
After soliciting applications during the spring semester, the University of Kentucky Office of Transdisciplinary Educational approaches to advance Kentucky (TEK) is pleased to announce the TEK Faculty Fellows for the 2024-25 academic year.
The School of Information Science partnered with University of Kentucky Libraries to host an in-person conversation hour for SIS staff and UK librarians, to encourage collaboration and networking.
On Friday, the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees approved 16 University Research Professors for the 2024-25 academic year. Established by the Board of Trustees in 1976, the professorships program recognizes excellence across the full spectrum of research at UK.
Three CI faculty members were named to CELT's faculty cohort for 2024-25 Teaching Innovation Institute.
