Curtis Tenney, MSLS student, wins 2017 ACRL Scholarship

 

Curtis S.Tenney is a graduate student in the Library Science program.

 

The Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) recently posted their 2017 Scholarship Winners. The School of Information Science is proud to announce that among those in the Library Science Student Scholarships category is University of Kentucky MSLS candidate Curtis Tenney.

Mr. Tenney will be attending the 2017 ACRL National Conference in Baltimore, Maryland this March. Carla Hayden, the current Librarian of Congress, is among the keynote speakers for this year's conference.

A division of the American Library Association (ALA), ACRL is the "higher education association for librarians," and "develops programs, products and services to help academic and research librarians learn, innovate and lead within the academic community."
