Where has your CI degree taken you?:
My ISC degree has helped me to understand how to manage my career as an artist and navigate all the different types of marketing opportunities that come up here in Nashville and all around.
What is your favorite thing about your job?:
The best thing about my job is being able to create everyday. I start every day with an idea or melody and by the end of the writing session I have helped create something that never existed before. It is a dream job!
What¹s the most valuable thing you learned in CI?:
I focused a lot on the importance of branding and marketing because as an artist my music and my brand (myself) are the product. The classes I took at UK gave me a head start on knowing how to best engage with an audience on a social platform and through advertising.
What advice would you give to current CI students?:
Don't put yourself in a box. If you work hard at what you are involved in and studying during your college years, the possibilities of how you could utilize that, and the fields it could lead you into, are endless.
