Position Summary: The Photography Intern will assist the UK Sports Network’s photography team in capturing high-quality images during sports events. This internship offers the opportunity to build a portfolio in sports photography and gain hands-on experience working with professional photographers and journalists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality images at various live sports events.
• Edit and process photos to ensure they meet the quality standards for publication.
• Archive and organize photos for digital use and future reference.
• Work closely with the editorial team to select photos for social media, articles, and promotions.
• Attend press conferences and behind-the-scenes events to capture candid moments.

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in sports photography.
• Proficiency in using DSLR cameras and editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
• Knowledge of lighting and framing techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of sports and the ability to capture action shots effectively.
• Attention to detail and creativity.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Unpaid positions, eligible for JAM 399 credit for those who qualify. Positions available for fall, spring.
