Video Producer/Production Assistant Intern

Position Summary: The Video Producer/Production Assistant Intern will work closely with the UK Sports Network’s production team to assist in creating, editing, and producing video content for broadcast and digital platforms. This internship is perfect for individuals who want to gain practical experience in sports video production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with pre-production, production, and post-production for video content.
• Help with scripting, shooting, and editing video segments, including highlight reels, interviews, and promos.
• Operate cameras, lighting, and sound equipment during shoots.
• Support video editors with footage logging, organization, and editing tasks.
• Ensure video content is consistent with brand guidelines and editorial standards.
• Collaborate with directors and producers to ensure smooth workflow during shoots.
• Coordinate and assist with on-location shoots, including handling equipment and setting up shots.
• Assist with managing video assets for future use on social media and digital platforms.

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in video production and sports media.
• Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Familiarity with video production equipment (cameras, lighting, microphones).
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel to events.

Unpaid positions, eligible for JAM 399 credit for those who qualify. Positions available for fall, spring.
