WELCOME

Welcome to the Department of Integrated Strategic Communication. Our major offers professional preparation for careers in the allied areas of promotional communication. Disciplines include advertising, public relations, direct response communication, sales promotion, social media promotion and more. Through course work and internships, students develop marketable skills and gain command of these allied areas.

The Integrated Strategic Communication program has full national accreditation by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC).

823 College of Communication and Information students named to Fall 2024 Dean's List

823 College of Communication and Information students were named to the Dean’s List for their outstanding academic achievement during the Fall 2024 semester. The 823 students on the list account for more than one third of all current CI students.

$2.5 million gift from Wrigley Miller to support UK College of Communication and Information

Yesterday, the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees formally accepted a $2.5 million gift from philanthropist, entrepreneur, horsewoman and award-winning journalist Misdee Wrigley Miller and her husband — businessman, lifelong horseman and accomplished polo player James Miller — that will support the renovation and expansion of UK’s Pence Hall, the future home of the UK College of Communication and Information.
