The Department of Integrated Strategic Communication B.A. and B.S. programs prepare students for careers as professionals in the allied areas of advertising, public relations, direct response and other forms of promotional communication.
This 120-credit hour program requires the completion of the 10 UK Core requirements, pre-major and major courses and a minor. In addition to this, ISC students are also required to complete an internship and portfolio.

ISC 491 Integrated Strategic Communication Campaigns Capstone
All ISC majors are required to submit a professional-level digital portfolio prior to graduation. Grading is on a pass-fail basis, and you must pass the portfolio requirement in order to earn your degree. For more information on the ISC portfolio requirement, click here.
ISC students are required to complete a minor in addition to their major. Minor programs typically range between 12 and 18 credit hours, and students may choose any available minor at the university. For a full list of minors offered at UK, click here.
