Becky Brooks

Biography

Becky Brooks serves as the president of the Alliance for Women in Media and the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation. Brooks plays an integral part in managing the strategic relationships and day-to-day operations of the groups that bring education, networking and recognition to the important world of executive women in television, radio and digital medias.

Brooks previously served as the executive director of Imago Relationships International. IRI is a leading form of couples therapy formed by the famed Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt after writing the best-selling book Getting the Love You Want. Prior to IRI, Brooks served the International SPA Association for nearly 15 years, finishing her time there as vice president. ISPA is the premier trade association bringing business tools, networking events and research to spa professionals and product companies around the world.

Brooks is the current president of the Palomar Piranhas Swim Team, board member of the Lexington Dolphins and past board member of the local elementary Parent Teacher Association.

Brooks, a Kentucky native, graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in marketing.
