Biography

Jamie B. Estes is president of Estes Public Relations, a boutique firm that specializes in media relations, social media, grand openings and brand awareness for products, people and places. With offices in Louisville and Charleston and clients in 13 markets around the country, EPR is an established name in culinary, spirits, hospitality and lifestyle public relations.

Estes is a founding board member of Bourbon Women, past president and founder of the Kentucky chapter of Les Dames d ’Escoffier International, past president of the International Association of Foodservice Editorial Council and past president and founder of the American Institute of Wine and Food’s Kentucky Chapter.

In addition to serving on the University of Kentucky’s Dean’s Advisory Council for the College of Communication and Information, Jamie Estes serves on the University of Alabama School of Communications Advisory Board and Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer’s Culinary and Bourbon Task Force.

Jamie has earned both local and national accolades for her work, including the Public Relations Society of America Bluegrass Chapter Hall of Fame, International Association of Business Communicators, the Hospitality, Sales and Marketing Association International, Louisville Business First (“40 under 40” and “Enterprising Women”), and the National Association of Women Business Owners (“Woman Business Owner of Distinction”).
