Biography

Pat Mutchler began his career at Johnson & Johnson in 1976 as a sales representative in the Consumer Sales Organization. He advanced through various positions in the consumer businesses, including national sales manager for McNeil Consumer Healthcare, worldwide vice president for the Oral Care Franchise and president of the Personal Products Company.

In 2001, he was promoted to company group chairman for the Asia Pacific Region. He assumed a new role in 2006, leading the Global Markets Organization and overseeing global sales and supply chain. Three years later, his role transitioned to heading the Global Baby Business Unit and held responsibility for the Digital Center of Excellence, Office of Sustainability, Global Sales, Global Strategic Insights and Baby Center.

Externally, he represented the corporation as a vice chairman on the Consumer Healthcare Products Association board of directors and as a member of the Asia Society Business Council and Philadelphia Museum of Art Corporate Board. He currently serves on both the board of the Jefferson University Cardiology Research Foundation and the National Advisory Board of the University of Kentucky College of Communication and Information.
