BatCats Central, a local website and LLC devoted to coverage of the University of Kentucky baseball team, is seeking an intern for the spring semester to serve as a beat writer covering the UK baseball team. The internship will involve covering UK home baseball games throughout the season and include writing game stories with quotes from players and coaches, longform feature stories and other potential portfolio pieces.  The ideal intern will already have experience covering a beat of some kind and understand the game of baseball, statistics, general knowledge of recent UK baseball history and of Southeastern Conference baseball.
