CASA of Lexington is looking for a student video intern with a position that could start immediately or at the beginning of January. The position offers a stipend based on the number of hours and/or projects committed to for the organization. CASA, Court-Appointed Special Advocate, works with volunteers who speak up for the best interests of abused and neglected children.

Duties and responsibilities of the Video Intern include …

  • Shoot video in horizontal and vertical alignment with good lighting and
  • composition.
  • Edit videos into short compositions for social media (Facebook, Instagram) and
  • web (YouTube).
  • Add titles and captions to videos.
  • Receive feedback and make edits/updates to videos as requested by the Director
  • of Communications.
  • Complete a series of videos following a new CASA volunteer as they go through
  • training.
  • Any other reasonable duties as assigned.

Experience producing video content for public consumption in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects or equivalent video editing and generating applications. Personal access to Premiere Pro and After Effects or equivalent applications preferred.
