The Lexington Children's Museum is seeking Development and Communications interns who will assist with fundraising and event planning tasks, participate in brainstorming sessions for social media content, marketing campaigns and volunteer activities. Social media content will include graphics, short form video content, copy writing and more. The intern will participate in off-site educational or promotional opportunities as assigned as well. While not required, interns also may be invited to help draft content for grant applications and other development/fundraising-related writing. The ideal intern should have strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate creativity, organization and promptness in all aspects of the position and be able to perform both independently and in collaboration with diverse groups of people.
