Responsible for creating and leading internal and external partnerships with faculty, staff, and large and small organizations, including the bourbon industry, the horse industry, and non-profits, libraries, and museums. Manage collection development, outreach, communications, and public relations, and community engagement. Contribute collaboratively to the Special Collections Research Center leadership group as one of four directors, serve as one of six directors for the Research & Discovery Division, as well as serve on the Directors & Coordinators group for UK Libraries. Oversee the $1.5 million endowment, budget and development/enhancement activities, donor relations, and fundraising for projects and initiatives, as well as for the endowment. Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing OHMS (Oral History Metadata Synchronizer), an open-source and free software system designed for enhancing access to online oral history.
