Picture Kentucky Workshop (photography/social media)
The Picture Kentucky Workshop is looking for a student photographer to support the workshop with photography, social media and website updates and assist the director for the fall 2026 semester.
This position includes the following responsibilities:
- Serve as workshop still photographer
- Support and assist the workshop director before, during and after the workshop with administrative, logistical and other tasks as needed
- Edit and publish photos to the workshop's social media account
- Assist the video team at the workshop as needed
- Update the workshop website (WordPress) with content from previous and current workshops
The student intern must be available to work during the dates of Oct. 14-17 in Morehead, Ky. Other hours and work dates can be flexible. Students who plan to attend the workshop as participants should not apply for this internship.
Candidates must be current UK undergraduate students with efficient skills in camera
operation, photography techniques, photo/video editing software and Wordpress CMS. Candidates should be well organized, able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced
team environment. Camera equipment can be provided.
This is an approved site for JAM 399 credit.
