The University of Kentucky Office of Public Relations and Marketing is looking for several interns to work across its units for the upcoming fall and spring semesters. Most positions are unpaid, but they do qualify for your JAM 399: Internships credit for students who are eligible. UK Public Relations and Strategic Communications is looking for interns to work with the social media team. Job duties include generating creative social media content ideas; shooting and editing social media content; managing social media accounts; identifying trends and engaging content for UK’s various audiences; assisting with press events; assisting with events as needed; and other tasks as needed. Having prior social media experience is a plus. Students will learn how to align content with UK messaging.
