UK Research Communications Video intern
The UK Research Communications team is looking for a video intern to assist our team in content creation focused on highlighting interesting and impactful research across our campus.
This position includes the following responsibilities:
- Turning existing video content into social media cuts, teases, posts, photo galleries, podcasts and other visual assignments as needed.
- Pitching ideas for new video content.
- Conducting interviews.
- Other assignments as needed/assigned.
Candidates must be a College of Communication and Information student with exceptional writing skills, have basic video editing skills, be well organized/able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced team environment. The internships also are eligible for JAM 399 class credit for students who qualify. But is open to any College of Communication and Information student, regardless of internship status.
For credit: Interns will work with Research Communications 15 hours a week.
For experience: Interns will work with their internship supervisor to create a schedule.
The group is open to Summer 2025 internships, as well as during Fall and Spring semesters.
