UK Sports Network (Sports Broadcast Production)

https://ukathletics.com/uk-sports-network/

Want to be part of the action behind the scenes of live Kentucky Athletics broadcasts? This internship is your chance to jump into real-world production with UK Sports Network.

As we rapidly expand our live streaming, studio shows, and podcast programming, interns will play a key role in bringing broadcasts to life — from Wildcats football weekends to weekly coaches shows and special events.

This year, interns will also be part of the launch of an exciting new live Kentucky Men’s Basketball pregame show, originating from our Downtown Studio and debuting in October.

No extensive experience is required, just energy, curiosity and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced live production environment.

This internship is available for JAM 399 course credit. Both paid and unpaid positions are available depending on qualifications and department needs.

  • Support directing and producing live and pre-recorded studio broadcasts from the C&I / JMI Sports Downtown Studio
  • Produce and engineer podcasts for UK Sports Network

  • Directing live productions both on-site and from a studio control room
  • Foundational knowledge of cameras, cabling, and production software
  • Real-world experience in broadcast directing and live event workflows
