Marie Dzuris

Biography

Marie Dzuris graduated from Union County High School in western Kentucky. Dzuris then earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Kentucky, where she was a four-year member of the debate team. After coaching college debate for three years at the University of Central Florida, Dzuris attended Ohio State University and earned a master’s degree in economics. Dzuris went on to become a high school teacher, where she coached debate, mock trial and middle school basketball, as well as taught speech and debate and AP Economics.

She retired a few years ago but still does online teaching and continues to be active in the debate team at the University of Kentucky.
