Inaugural Classes Taught at New Rupp Studios

UK School of Journalism and Media's Carey Higgins-Dobney teaches the first production classes at the new, state-of-the-art Rupp media facilities to kick off the spring 2025 semester this week. 

 The new, state-of-the-art location in Central Bank Center is next to world-famous Rupp Arena in downtown Lexington. Courses include television studio production and student-produced newscast and sportscast. The Rupp space is the result of the partnership between UK Athletics and JMI Sports, where students take classes alongside broadcasting, media production and sports professionals.
