The University of Kentucky Department of Integrated Strategic Communication will host the 2023 Irwin Warren Lecture on Thursday, April 13 from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. in Gatton Student Center 330AB. This year’s distinguished lecturer is Regan Nichols, a Louisville-based marketing and Advertising Executive.

The Irwin Warren Lecture Series in Advertising and Digital Media honors the memory of Warren, who was the creator of some of the nation's most successful advertising campaigns. During an advertising career spanning more than 40 years, Warren worked at Doyle Dane Bernbach, BBDO and other leading agencies, before moving to McCann Erickson, the world's largest advertising agency, where he retired as senior creative director in 2006.

Nichols is a communication graduate of the University of Kentucky and has 15 years of advertising agency experience. Most recently she was the President of Scoppechio, a full-service agency in Louisville, Kentucky. Before moving back to the Bluegrass state and driving growth at the agency for 10 years, she led account teams at Havas/EuroRSCG in Chicago and then StudioBanks/Union in Charlotte, NC.

This year’s event is limited to invited students but will be made available to the public afterwards via Zoom recording.
