Top played song on your playlist?:

It’s gotta be “Take It Easy” by the Eagles (any Eagles song for that matter).

Where has your CI degree taken you?:

My degree set me up well to play a part in my community. Since graduation, I’ve been fortunate to be involved with several groups and businesses across the city. I’ve done non-profit work with Young Life, launched and managed the charitable clothing brand Provisions, and worked as the Business Development Director for Brand Animal.

What is your favorite thing about your job?:

My favorite part of my job is the people. The product is just a foundation to build relationships. In my life and work, I love that I get to focus on building relationships first. I’m constantly exploring new opportunities for growth and looking to see where I can connect people personally and professionally.

What¹s the most valuable thing you learned in CI?:

The two most valuable skills I learned were creative problem solving and collaboration. Those two skills have come into play more than any other. Everyday I try to bring people together to get something done, I have to communicate my objectives and work together with others to solve it.

What advice would you give to current CI students?:

Soak up the experience of college. Travel, learn a lot, and make it a habit to meet new people. One thing I’ve learned is that obviously, you can’t take stuff with you…but you can take experiences with you.
