My CI degree has given me the opportunity to travel to and tell the story of communities and people all across the Kentucky and Indiana area!
What is your favorite thing about your job?:
I love that I get to travel to different areas of Kentucky and Indiana almost every day. Meeting new people and connecting with others through storytelling has been the most fun and rewarding part of my job!
What¹s the most valuable thing you learned in CI?:
Get out of your comfort zone and try something new!
What advice would you give to current CI students?:
Get involved and make connections early in your career at UK! There are SO many people in the department willing to help you. Putting yourself out there will make all the difference and will get you comfortable with talking to new people. You’ll have to do that in the real world so why not get the practice now!
