Marketing, Social Media & Digital Strategy Intern
Organization: PRISM Wellness Solutions, LLC
Location: 989 Governors Lane STE 140, Lexington, KY (Hybrid: Remote & On-Site)
Commitment: 8–12 hours per week, ~150 hours total per semester
Supervisor: Practice Director & Marketing Coordinator

PRISM Wellness Solutions is a rapidly expanding integrated health practice offering psychiatry, therapy, primary care, medical weight management, hormone therapy, and vitality services. As we continue to grow, we aim to strengthen our brand presence through community engagement, digital marketing, and innovative outreach.
Position Summary
The Marketing, Social Media & Digital Strategy Intern will play a blended role focusing on creative content development and data-driven strategies. This role combines social media management, campaign planning, and analytics to help PRISM expand its digital footprint while experimenting with new tools, including AI and SEO/SEM enhancements.
Public Relations & Community Outreach Intern

Position Summary
The Public Relations & Community Outreach Intern will focus on building strong community connections, event execution, and public communications. This role will also incorporate elements of audience research and campaign planning to complement digital marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing community events, workshops, and employer-based Q&A sessions.
- Research and build partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and local businesses.
- Draft press releases, newsletters, and community-facing communications.
- Support patient education initiatives by developing informational materials.
- Help coordinate PRISM’s participation in fairs, conferences, and wellness events.
- Assist in collecting community feedback, conducting surveys, and analyzing outreach impact.
Qualifications
- Junior or Senior undergraduate student in Public Relations, ISC, Communications, or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in event planning or stakeholder engagement preferred.
- Interest in healthcare access and advocacy.
Learning Outcomes
- Gain experience in public relations, event planning, and stakeholder communication.
- Develop practical skills in healthcare PR and community engagement.
- Strengthen understanding of outreach strategy as part of an integrated marketing plan.

Responsibilities
- Manage and grow PRISM’s social media presence across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Develop content calendars, write engaging copy, and design graphics/videos aligned with PRISM’s brand.
- Assist with SEO/SEM efforts, including keyword research, ranking analysis, and reporting.
- Support automation and AI-driven marketing workflows.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Participate in planning and executing digital campaigns targeting key populations (e.g., school systems, state workers)
Qualifications
- Junior or Senior undergraduate student in Marketing, ISC, Communications, Analytics, or related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and design skills.
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Understanding of digital analytics, SEO/SEM, or interest in AI-driven marketing.
- Ability to balance creativity with data-driven insights.
Learning Outcomes
- Gain hands-on experience in integrated digital marketing.
- Develop both creative content and strategic analytics skills.
- Learn to leverage AI and automation for healthcare marketing.
