The SPJ Campus Chapter will host a Meet the Editor reception for students at 5 p.m. in the President’s Room of the Singletary Center. At 6 p.m. in the same room, the Bluegrass Pro Chapter will host a beer-and-wine reception for faculty, staff and Kentucky Press Association members. Theses receptions will be followed by a brief talk from Rick Green, new editor of the Lexington Herald-Leader, about his journalism background, his approach to the craft and his hopes for the Herald-Leader, then answer questions from students, faculty, staff and other members of the public.

Azetta Betty (UK HR Work-Life Manager) and Gail Carbol (UK Employee Benefits Manager) will be joining us to provide a refresher about all of the great employee benefits (discounts, services, etc.) available to employees.
